Discussion took place re. the future arrangements for the Village Hall/School and Church in relation to the show finances: the show at this scale is a new venture but Martin saw it as essentially a joint ‘village event'. It was felt generally that £500 given to the school was a fair reflection of the use made of the school buildings and grounds on the day. This could be regarded as an investment in the future with more dialogue between the various bodies next year ( including PTA member).

Richard S.---Fun Run : R reported that Morpeth Harriers were willing to extend/organise the fun run as a cross country race: this would require additional facilities i.e. changing (school possibly).Possibility of 50 not 20 runners.

Discussion ensued as to whether this was appropriate - it was suggested that there could be a special prize for local runners and/or shorter course. Discussion took place as to whether it was appropriate to try to expand the show Martin agreed with Sue that it is important to introduce new ideas.

Billy/Sheila --No complaints re. Stalls/Charges. Food stalls did particularly well.

Richard P. ---Signage --- felt that this could be improved by, in particular, increasing the size of signs. Possible Youth Club project? R. also thought that there were too many cars in the village (lack of sufficient signage?)

Sue R. --- Art Cub paintings could be hung in the bar area to help extend selling area.

Date of 2010 Show -- agreed following discussion -- 18 th . September (M.K. to put on website)
