Minutes of the Committee Meeting held on 16 th June 2009 at 7.30pm

The new Secretary will write to Gladys and Dorothy to thank them for their services to the Committee.

Matters Arising

Treasurer's Report

Elliott did not deliver his report. This will follow in due course.

Bale Fire

Elliott, Richards G and P and Stephen will staff the bar. Anna will source beer, wine and soft drinks.

The school have all other arrangements in hand. Richard and Stephen will build a fire. Tony at the pub is aware of the event and Sue will discuss with him whether he wants to do any food. The event starts at 18.45.

Tables

Sheila has identified some tables online for the front room at £70 - £150 each and we need 8. Agreed to make further enquiries for the next meeting.

Fundraising

It was felt no additional events are needed at present.

Show

•  The schedules and flyers are ready

•  No additional activities have been identified so far. Martin is still keen to find someone who can organise terrier racing.

•  Richard P has the classic cars well in hand.

•  Charlotte will do the dog show and hopefully the scarecrows.

•  The TA are bringing an obstacle course and climbing wall

•  Martin will discuss the school's participation with Mrs Hinson

•  Martin would like funds approved for advertising, prizes etc. Agreed £1500 for these purposes. Stewart still has the car parking signs.

AOB

Emma attended. She has had a request for photographs of the Hall and prices on the website. Our DDA access arrangements also need to be referenced.
